The Genesis

The birth of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ark of Covenant Parish, was not a coincidence but a divine orchestration guided by the Holy Spirit. The journey began with a prophetic message received in 2001 while I was serving as the Assistant Shepherd under my late father and spiritual mentor, Evang. Prophet Samuel Olumuyiwa Oshodi, at CCC Ayilara Parish, Surulere, Lagos.

During a service, Prophetess Kemi Pasca (Iya Bolu) delivered a divine revelation: that I would be transferred to a major Church in Northern Nigeria, where I would serve for two years, and afterward, God would give me land to build a Church that would be established and known across the world.

That same year, the prophecy began to unfold when I was called to Pastor Gilbert Jesse’s office (of blessed memory) in CCC Tejuosho Parish, Yaba, Lagos, and was handed a transfer letter to CCC Central Parish, Abuja, as Assistant Shepherd to Sup. Evang. P. Akinkunmi. I served there faithfully for two years, just as the prophecy had said.

Toward the end of my stay, another divine confirmation came during a night vigil in Abuja. A prophetess described seeing an angel pointing toward Airport Road, Abuja — a location destined for a new Parish. Weeks later, the prophetic words became reality. On a Sunday in July 2002, I received a transfer letter to return to Lagos, and less than ten minutes later, Mama Onikoyi — the Church Grand Matron who had just returned from the U.S. — urgently called me and handed over a large brown envelope. Inside were land documents. She testified that the Holy Spirit had instructed her to give the land for God’s worship and not to sell it.

In the first week of August 2005, alongside Ven. Sup. Evang. Shina Abimbola and MC Yetunde Oduwole, we located the plot with the help of a surveyor. On the 3rd of September 2005, the altar of CCC Ark of Covenant Parish was laid, and the Church was built by the grace of God through the support of our Grand Patron, S/M Babatunde Aina. To the glory of God, the vision became flesh — a Parish born from prophecy, obedience, and divine direction.
